I recently asked the lovely community of kindred spirits on Instagram what their favorite romantic movies are and had so much fun seeing the responses! Based on kindred recommendations, I’ve compiled a list of must-see movies for the hopeless romantic. We all need a chick flick movie night with kindred spirits every now and then, don’t you think? ✨ See below for a selection of romantic movies that will melt your heart!

1. Letters to Juliet

Letters to Juliet is absolutely charming! It follows aspiring writer, Sophie, to Italy as she stumbles across a love letter written 50 years ago. When Sophie decides to respond to the letter, she finds herself on an exciting quest for true love.

2. While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping tells the story of Lucy, a lonely ticket booth worker, who rescues her crush, Peter, from an oncoming train. When Peter goes into a coma at the hospital, Lucy meets his family and they assume she is his fiancée. It’s the perfect mix of sweet, silly, and heartwarming!

3. Pride and Prejudice
