ARRIVAL
Arrive at Charlottetown Airport on Prince Edward Island. Transportation to our hotel is arranged for you.
Check in at our charming hotel,

Tour Green Gables Heritage Place
This home once belonged to L.M. Montgomery’s grandparents and served as the inspiration for the beloved Green Gables in her Anne of Green Gables series
Wander along the Haunted Wood
and Lover’s Lane
Follow in the footsteps of Anne Shirley as we venture through the Haunted Wood and Lover’s Lane, two iconic settings from the series
Visit Montgomery Park & Montgomery’s resting place
In Montgomery Park, a stunning statue of L.M. Montgomery stands as a beautiful tribute. Nearby, we’ll visit her final resting place at Cavendish Cemetery.
Enjoy lunch (including a slice of delectable raspberry pie!) at PEI Preserve Company
Visit the site of Montgomery’s Cavendish home
Walk the scenic paths Montgomery walked and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings that inspired her writing. Plus, browse for souvenirs at the site’s lovely bookshop.
Visit the Green Gables Post Office

L.M. Montgomery described this home as “the wonder castle of her childhood.” It held a special place in her heart, as she often visited her beloved cousin, Frede Campbell, here. The house served as the inspiration for Silver Bush in her Mistress Pat novels.
Take a carriage ride around The Lake of Shining Waters

Behind the Veil:
A Lucy Maud Montgomery Experience
The Enchanted Book Club is proud to bring back Behind the Veil, a one-of-a-kind theatre show led by renowned Canadian theatre producer, Mike Ross. This intimate theatrical experience, created in celebration of Montgomery’s 150th anniversary, delves into the life of L.M. Montgomery through her journals and letters. The performance captures Montgomery’s humor, passion for nature, struggles, and creative brilliance in a way that is both moving and true to her spirit. Our group will enjoy the best seats in the house along with a performer meet & greet after the show.

Due to high interest, tour guests are selected through a raffle. Annual Members have priority, entering a separate raffle for first-access to attend this tour. I’ll never forget the first time I walked into Jane Austen’s home. It was as if the stories I’ve always loved leaped off the pages before my eyes. To see Jane’s tiny writing desk, to thumb through the pages of Pride & Prejudice with a view of her garden, to step inside her bedroom—it was undeniably enchanting. I knew I wanted share this experience with as many readers as I could.
As the founder and host of The Enchanted Book Club, I’ve made it my mission to bring readers closer to the stories and authors that have touched our hearts. Our community is a space where beautiful stories come to life through thoughtful conversations and unforgettable experiences.
What makes literary travel even more extraordinary is sharing it with kindred spirits. Some of my most treasured memories have been made on Enchanted Book Club tours, where women from around the world gather to be immersed in our favorite novels in the very places they were written.
