The Enchanted Book Club welcomes Posy Lovell, the author of our May reading selection, The Kew Gardens Girls. Set during World War I, the novel tells the story of women who stepped into roles as gardeners at London’s Kew Gardens, taking on the jobs of men who had gone to fight. In this conversation, Posy will share the real-life events and historical figures that inspired her novel, discuss the challenges women faced during the war, and explore how Kew Gardens served as a sanctuary.
