As we celebrate the works of Beatrix Potter this month, Annemarie Bilclough will join us to discuss her book, Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature which showcases Potter’s characters against the backdrop of her botanical drawings, humorous illustrated letters to friends, Lake District landscapes, and rarely seen photographs. Annemarie has over 20 years in curatorial experience working with prints, illustration and book arts at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

The author of more than 40 books, including Bridge to Terabithia and Jacob Have I Loved—both winners of the prestigious Newbery Medal—Katherine has inspired generations of readers with her heartfelt and thought-provoking stories. With 13 honorary degrees and a lifetime of literary achievements, Katherine was named a Living Legend by the Library of Congress for her profound contributions to literature. In our conversation, we explored her approach to storytelling, the magic of children’s literature at every age, and so much more.
