The Enchanted Book Club. By subscribing to our service, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Subscription Agreement: By joining The Enchanted Book Club, you agree to enter into a recurring subscription agreement. This agreement will automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the subscription plan chosen by you.
2. Subscription Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you pause or cancel it before the renewal date. If you wish to pause or cancel your subscription, you must do so before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
3. No Refunds: All subscription fees and charges are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods. As we are always transparent with our valued members, the reason for this is because your membership fees are what keeps The Enchanted Book Club running and make our meaningful contributions to the celebration and preservation of beloved authors possible.
4. Pause/Cancel: You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings or by contacting customer support. Upon pausing or canceling, your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. At that point, it will not renew, and you will lose access to the benefits of the book club membership. If you plan to step away temporarily, we recommend pausing your membership instead of canceling. Pausing allows to log into your account to re-join. However, if you choose to cancel, your account will be deactivated, and you’ll need to sign up again if you wish to rejoin our book club in the future.
5. Account Access and Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for restricting access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, including any unauthorized use.
6. Conduct: As a valued member of The Enchanted Book Club, we expect all interactions to reflect the core values of respect, courtesy, integrity, and kindness. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech, discrimination, aggressive language, impoliteness or any behavior that may cause discomfort or offense to our members, staff, special guests, and host. Should any member engage in such behavior, they risk immediate termination of their membership without refund. Additionally, prospective members who have displayed such conduct may be denied membership. The Enchanted Book Club is dedicated to creating a community where everyone feels welcome and respected, fostering enriching connections and a shared love for literature.
7. Content Usage: All content provided through The Enchanted Book club including but not limited to articles, discussions, and other materials, is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the content without prior written permission from The Enchanted Book Club or the respective copyright holder.
8. Intellectual Property: All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on our website are the property of The Enchanted Book Club or their respective owners. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of these marks without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Enchanted Book Club and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our book club membership.
10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
