Hello friends! In case we haven’t officially met, my name is Hayley Solano, I’m founder of The Enchanted Book Club, a kindred community dedicated to celebrating the magic of storytelling. On Saturday, December 4th, I was delighted to host a holiday celebration with Susan Branch. Susan shared her holiday favorites with us (including decorations, books, movies, and recipes!) and even gave us a sneak peek of her upcoming book. Our conversation couldn’t have been more inspiring. Watch below for all of the holiday magic and heartfelt wisdom on how to be the best version of yourself — “A Valentine for the world,” as Susan calls it in her new book 💖
If you are interested in joining The Enchanted Book Club, you can learn all about us here. Each month we host virtual events (just like this one!) where we speak with inspiring storytellers who share insights into their work. We read a different book together every month, enjoy an ever-growing library of literary goodies, host exclusive giveaways, and so much more. We would love for you to join us!

Enjoyed your interview w Susan so much. 4 years ago I went to Martha’s Vineyard w 3 good friends. As we were walking through the lovely cottages in Oak Bluffs, we met a wonderful couple who invited us in to see their home that they had recently renovated. The very friendly lady took us (4 strangers from Nevada) on a THREE hour tour of the island. She was so positive and friendly, I can see how she and Susan would be a good match. We asked her if she knew where Susan and Joe lived. She didn’t know who she was but looked her up and drove us by. Imagine our surprise when we saw this lovely lady on Susan’s recent Willard – Erin in the front left at the book group meeting! It was wonderful seeing her looking so hale and hearty! Thank you to all of you for all the positive, upbeat words. We loved New England as much as we anticipated. ❣️
